When you have only 5 minutes to prep dinner in the morning before you run out the door…here is your solution…Crockpot Hawaiian Chicken!
Always keep these 3 ingredients on hand for those crazy, busy days: chicken, pineapple and BBQ sauce. Throw them in the crockpot, set to Low and by the time evening comes around, you have a delicious meal. You can easily pair this chicken with some rice that has been simmering away in a rice cooker all day or over mashed potatoes (I buy the microwaveable mashed potatoes at BJ’s Wholesale and you would never know they are not homemade, 5 minutes in the microwave is all it takes). Add in any veggie you have on hand (here I used frozen green beans that I microwaved in the morning and then refrigerated, tossed them with olive oil, red wine vinegar and seasoning right before we ate) and viola, a perfectly balanced meal with hardly any effort.
You can find this recipe on my Recipes tab for all of the details.
Happy Cooking!
